How To Deal with Adversity

If you weren't there this Sunday you missed an exhilarating sermon about handling adversity. Though difficult times will come in all of our lives, Pastor Hurd expounded on key principles needed to keep a Christ centered approach to stress. These principles included continuing to worship God even in crisis and being thankful for what we do have. Remember that your attitude makes the difference in what you receive! Teen Focus

Teen Focus exists to openly and honestly discuss issues facing today's teens. These issues will be addressed from a Biblical perspective. Teens between 13-19 are invited to attend and bring concerns or questions on topics of concern or post comments here for discussion. Stay tuned for topic, date and time of our May Teen focus. Get Involved at LCC

LCC is seeking volunteers to assist in the following ministries:

• Children's Ministry: If you believe that it takes a village to raise a child and want to help train them up in the way they should go we have a place for you. Our childrens ministry workers love God and love children.

• Music Ministry Do you love to worship? If you love to sing or play an instrument including keyboard, guitar or drums you can make a difference at LCC.

• Greeter's Ministry If you have a welcoming heart and enjoy serving others you will touch the heart of God through this ministry.
  


• Audiovisual Media and Sound Technicians Put your creative and technical skills to use by enhancing the gospel message.

• If you have leadership experience in Men's Ministry, Women's Ministry or Young Adult Ministry, come help us grow! Set up and tear down volunteers are also appreciated.
